Dale Earnhardt Jr. is an interesting guy. He's a mixture of the old and new worlds of racing. Just like his dad was, Jr's become the "go to guy" when the media wants to find out what the drivers are thinking about NASCAR. His favorite band is an indie rock band called, "Lord Huron", a group who really didn't know anything about Jr. before he met them. And his favorite song of all time is an old-school country song - "Rose Colored Glasses" by John Conlee. And to be fair, Lord Huron isn't some metal band but does have a kind of folk or "roots" sound to them. (In my opinion)

Now, in an interview with Yahoo Sports, Junior says the future of NASCAR looks good because of...young drivers and their social media accounts. According to Junior, “I’m not worried about the downturn in attendance and all that stuff because we have a good crop of young guys coming in. They are going to reach these new fans because they know where they are at. They are on Twitter and on Snapchat and what the hell ever else."

We shall see.

Junior's on the inside though. And changes are going to HAVE to happen. (In my opinion)
