Could This New Trend At Bars Be Coming To Michigan Soon?

Every business owner is looking for an edge--something that will make their business stand out from all the others. Well, considering we have a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, perhaps this idea may catch on in Mid-Michigan.

According to The Independent, the latest trend at bars in London is...owls. Yep, owls. Real owls...not those plastic ones that you put in your garden to keep animals away...real...living...owls. Customers at 'Annie The Owl' will soon be able to enjoy their favorite drink while petting an owl. (But only during the hours of 8pm to 2am because the owls are nocturnal...)

There will be a minimum of four to five owls 'on duty' along with a professional trainer. (Just in case.) Drinks will include an owl-presso martini and 'The Hoot'. (Get it?! Owls hoot??) Ha! Anyway, you'd better get your airplane ticket now. All of the *hootin' and hollerin'* (I came up with that one all by myself) will get underway on March 19th.
