The Taurid meteor shower will be at it's peak for the next week in the skies over Michigan. According to the West Bloomfield Patch.com, this meteor shower is not known for it's numbers of shooting stars, but instead for it's slower, brighter fireballs.

However, this year, scientists are expecting more fireballs than normal. And the weather should be good for "fireball viewing" in Michigan this weekend.

So, get outside, find a spot away from the lights and face the east in the early evening and the south as we get toward midnight.

Good luck, everybody.
