You know how there's hockey and baseball leagues... now Lansing has a cornhole league!

According to the Lansing State Journal, cornhole is growing in popularity in Lansing. Particularly at the Lansing Brewing Company, where they host cornhole tournaments Wednesday nights. If you've never played, cornhole is similar to horse shoes, in that you throw an object at a target to try and score points. However, it's much more than a competition.

One of the competitors, CJ Durham, said "It's really about drinking, socializing and having a good time with friends." And isn't that what it's really all about? If you've ever been at a tailgate or a festival, there are cornhole games happening everywhere, and it's all about mingling and having fun!

If you think you'd like to join a league, registrations for fall 2018 are happening right now. Get more details about the league and read more about cornhole, here.
