Buy the Silverdome – Tailgate Every Day

The Pontiac Silverdome is for sale. The list price is $30 million.

According to Mlive.com, the Silverdome was built for $55 million in 1975 and a Toronto based company, Triple Properties, bought it for just under $600,000 in 2009, put $6 million in repairs into it and now want to sell it (and the 127 acres it sits on) for $30 million. The real estate agent says they'll take less. Gee, thanks. The property does make about $1 million a year from a couple of leases on site.

So buy it. You could have your flag football league there. Have another Wrestlemania - outside this time. Or just ride your bike around the grounds.
