Burning Bans Issued For Many Areas In Mid-Michigan

According to WILX, there are several areas in Mid-Michigan that are currently under burning bans due to the extremely dry weather conditions. Some of the areas include:

Lansing
Delta Township
Delhi Township
Mason
Aurelius Township
Vevay Township
Alaiedon Township
Portland
Meridian Township

With the burning ban in effect and the lack of rain in the forecast, this does mean that some of the firework displays scheduled for this weekend throughout Mid-Michigan may be postponed. Stay tuned!
