Officials with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources are looking for the people or person that is responsible for illegally killing two bull elk in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula. Officials say the carcasses of the two animals were found on Saturday in Montmorency County, about 7 miles north of Atlanta. Officials say that it appears that both elk were shot sometime late last week. (Officials say that the shooting may have happened on Thursday, November 15th.)

According to the Michigan DNR, tips may be left anonymously, and monetary rewards are sometimes offered for the information that leads to the arrest of the violator or violators.
