Taste of Country followed Brantley Gilbert home to Maysville, Ga. to get UpClose with the singer, and it was there that he proved that his new album 'Just as I Am' is purely Gilbert ... just the way he is.

Gilbert opens up his abode, shares more details on the album's personal contents, discusses dating girls in high school and shows off his prized motorcycles in this exclusive video.

Friends and supporters of the singer gathered in his gorgeous home for a No. 1 party, where there was no shortage of food, drinks, or Gilbert himself. "All my records are chapters of my life. And this record covers the past four and a half years," the singer told the crowd of those close to him. "For those of you who don't know, that's about how long I waited before putting out this next record."

"It's got the good, the bad, and the ugly in it -- all of it; I didn't skip anything for a reason," he admits. "You know, I had somebody ask me the other day if I was ever going to write a book, and I said, 'I have. That's what I do.' Those [records] are my books; these are my memories; these are my stories."

The follow-up to 'Halfway to Heaven' is honest -- painfully honest, at times. It covers topics like Gilbert's broken engagement to fellow country star Jana Kramer and his spiritual side, which he sings about in 'My Faith.'

Says the 'Bottoms Up' hitmaker, "I sing songs about things I don't want to have conversations about. I wear my heart on my sleeve."

In addition to a No. 1 party, Gilbert also shows off his prized possessions sitting in his driveway: a car that appeared on his first album, as well as his three motorcycles, of course.

In the clip, Gilbert also shows fans his old high school stomping grounds (and gives details on how he got a key to the workout facilities), plus gives a peek at one of his rockin' shows at the Georgia Theatre.
