If you're like me, you may be thinking, "Now I've seen everything".

But believe it or not, according to WILX-TV, the Boy Scouts are recalling those famous brass neckerchief slides that are historic parts of their uniforms because they contain lead levels that exceed the federal ban on lead content. Lead is toxic and can cause major health issues if swallowed.

The neckerchief slides in question that were sold come in four styles, which include the red wolf, the green bear, the orange lion and the blue Webelos slides. More then 10-thousand of these slides were sold this year.

If one of these slides are in your child's possession, they should stop wearing them immediately and you can return it to any Boy Scouts of America store or distributor as they will replace the neckerchief slide for free.
