It was a very eventful weekend for the Michigan State baseball team. First, the team won against the Richmond Spiders in Virginia on Saturday afternoon. Why was that win such a big deal? Well, because it marked the 300th career win for Jake Boss Jr., the head coach at Michigan State.

If that weren't enough for Boss to celebrate, it was also his birthday on Sunday! (I'd say a 300th career win is quite the birthday gift....) You can read more about the record achievement in this article from MSUSpartans.com--the official website of Spartan athletics.

It might be hard to believe but Michigan State’s home opener is this Wednesday at McLane Stadium! Click here to see their complete schedule.
