Soon, you'll be able to buy Girl Scout cookies ONLINE. And they'll be shipped right to your doorstep.

According to time.com, this will be in addition to, and not instead of, Girl Scouts selling in person. Starting this month, the cookies will be sold on websites run by the girls themselves or by a mobile app for your cellphone. And (I know what you're thinking) the girls identities and information will be protected with only first names used, information encrypted and you won't be able to access the website without an email invitation from one of the scouts. A quick check of the official Girl Scout's website, shows the online option will be available from the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan council now, but not yet from the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan council. But they say the "program will continue to grow".

Here's the story.
