Portland Strong Benefit Concert Set For August 9th

100% of proceeds to benefit Portland Disaster Relief Fund 

The Portland Strong Benefit Concert will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Portland High School Football Field. 100% of proceeds will go to the Portland Disaster Relief Fund to help rebuild the city after an EF-1 tornado ripped through Portland on June 22, 2015 causing an estimated $3.2 million dollars in damage.

Seventeen-year-old singer-songwriter Shelby Ann-Marie, an artist local to Portland, organized and will headline the benefit concert to help raise money for the Portland Disaster Relief Fund. The event is teaming up with the Portland Community Fund Association and many local sponsors to bring an afternoon filled with live music, food and fun. Shelby Ann-Marie appeared on American Idol Season 13 where she made it to the end of Hollywood Week and has opened for national country artists Craig Morgan, Chase Rice, The Band Perry and will open for Trace Adkins later this summer.

Also set to perform is Lansing based country duo Bear Creek Brothers. Three Men and a Tenor, best known for their dynamic vocal ability and a group that recently opened for Jay Leno, will perform as well as Max Boyle, Jamie Miller and Patrick Dawdy. Gates will open at 1:30pm with the music kicking off at 2:30pm.

Tickets are $15.00 for Track GA and $10.00 for Grandstand GA and are on sale now at various outlets in Portland including Fabiano’s River House Grill, Independent Bank, Portland Federal Credit Union and more.
