All it takes is a little bit of focused heat, oxygen and fuel - and you've got yourself a fire. That's what happened in a suburb of London, on Sunday, when DecLan Murphy and his family went out to celebrate - and came home to a house severely damaged by fire. According to The Mirror, somebody in DecLan's family put a glass jar of Nutella on a window sill, the sun hit it just right - and like a magnifying glass - the focused light started a fire.

According to the London Fire Brigade, they've responded to five fires this winter, and 125 fires in the last five years, caused by sunlight being magnified by glass objects. Charlie Pugsley, from the Fire Investigation Unit, said, "Crystal and glass ornaments and items such as mirror tables should be kept out of direct sunlight."

And jars of Nutella. Or probably more like peanut butter or jelly over here. (Do they still come in GLASS jars?)

So you've got THAT to worry about, now....here's the story.
