More ‘Wizard of Oz’ trivia: Did you know this about Ruby Slippers?

Saw what "Banana" Don wrote about "5 Things About The Wizard Of Oz You May Not Know"... ( if you missed it, click here:  http://witl.com/author/donjefferson/ )  How interesting!  I had heard the part about coloring the horses with Jell-o, but didn't know the others!

This made me think of the Ruby Slippers, so I did a bit of research.  Turns out, there were (of course) many different pairs of Ruby Slippers made...some for dancing, some for "curled toes" under the house, some for "clicking heels".  Leo DiCaprio has a pair...Debbie Reynolds has a pair...and a pair is in the Smithsonian!  Want to know more about the Ruby Slippers?  http://americanhistory.si.edu/press/fact-sheets/ruby-slippers
