Larry Fitzgerald was out moose hunting with his buddies, right near Fairbanks, when they found some huge bear tracks. So they followed them and three hours later - he shot a MONSTER from 20 yards away (Sako 300 Win.Mag. rifle ). It's skull has just been certified by the Boone and Crockett Club as the biggest grizzly ever taken by a hunter. The only bigger bear belonged to a skull somebody found in 1976.

Here's the story from the New York Daily News.
