If you didn’t already know, the weather forecast has been changing a lot over the weekend regarding how much snow is coming to our area late Sunday night and on Monday morning. And now, according to the National Weather Service, it looks like the Lansing area will see several inches of snow. (It’s like a fun ‘welcome back to work’ gift.)

The National Weather Service has used a Winter Weather Advisory for Calhoun, Barry, Eaton, Ingham, Livingston, Ionia, Clinton, Shiawassee and Gratiot Counties. The advisory goes into effect at midnight tonight and lasts until 1pm Monday afternoon. At this point, the National Weather Service believes that the Lansing area will about 4 to 6 inches of snow with this storm and some places could see even more. Areas north of Lansing could see anywhere from 4 to 8 inches of snow and the Jackson area could see 1 to 3 inches of snow.
