Some audio from the 911 calls made after the 193-vehicle pile-up in Michigan last week has been released. Meanwhile, lawmakers say that the huge pile-up on Interstate 94 should prompt a review of whether that stretch of roadway needs upgrades. Republican Congressman Representative Fred Upton says I-94 needs to be widened from four to six lanes through eastern Kalamazoo County. As a person who was born and raised in Michigan and has traveled that highway many times, I would have to agree with Congressman Upton. A lot of the blame with accidents like this can be blamed on "driver behavior" but through the years, that particular stretch of highway has always been a problem. (Just like the area of US 127 and 496 in Lansing.) Here's some of the 911 audio:
