5 Things To Know For Stalking Dierks Bentley
If you haven't heard the big news, WITL is proud to present the inaugural "Taste Of Country Music Festival" starring DIERKS BENTLEY at Cooley Law School Stadium in downtown Lansing on Saturday, June 13th, 2015, sponsored by your neighborhood Michigan Ford dealers. To get you ready for the big show, here are five things you may want to know if you plan on stalking him that day:
1.) His real first name is NOT Dierks(!!!). It's actually Frederick. His middle name, Dierks (which is how we know him), is also his maternal great-grandmother's surname.
2.) He graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997 and he's a frat guy. He was part of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Vanderbilt.
3.) He used to work at The Nashville Network, which is now Spike TV. He researched old footage of country performances which led to his love of bluegrass and traditional country.
4.) He lives in Nashville with his wife Cassiday and 3 kids; Evelyn, Jordan and Knox. Also, the Bentley's have TWO dogs! There's been a lot of talk through the years about Jake but they also have a lesser-known dog named George.
5.) And music? Can you guess what his first #1 single was? It was off his debut album back in 2003. The answer....'What Was I Thinkin'...
