They say that laughter is the best medicine but smiling could be a close second. Did you know that there are many benefits to smiling. According to Psychology Today, smiling can make you look younger, it can also make you look thinner (awesome) and smiling can help to improve your mood. Lately, a lot of people seem to be in a not-so-great-of-a-mood, so, I thought I'd help by sharing 3 things that have made me smile lately.

1.Have you seen 7-year-old Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja's rendition of the National Anthem before an LA Galaxy soccer match back in September? Here it is and it should surely bring a smile to your face:

2. Here's another video featuring kids that makes me smile  The video is now 11 years old and has been watched by over 863 MILLION people...but watching 'Charlie bit my finger' can still bring a smile to my face.

3. There's a new show on FOX 47 that has made me smile, too. If you haven't had a chance to check out The Cool Kids, which airs on Friday nights at 8:30 on FOX 47, you should do that...and very soon. The show is lots of fun and has some great people on it including Martin Mull, David Alan Grier, Leslie Jordan and Vicki Lawrence. (I think they're all pretty funny but Leslie Jordan is currently my favorite on the show.)

Here's the official trailer for the show if you haven't seen it yet.
