As we get closer to the end of September, (fall officially arrived last Saturday) we're also getting closer to the perfect time to check out the fall foliage in Michigan. The Pure Michigan website has a very cool Fall Foliage Predictor on their website that you'll want to check out if you're planning a trip this fall to see the beautiful fall colors that Michigan has to offer throughout the state.  Click here to use the interactive Pure Michigan Fall Foliage Predictor.

The Weather Channel also has a Fall Foliage Prediction map that you can check out, too. They predict that mid-October is your best bet for the full peak of fall colors for the northern part of lower Michigan. See their map here. Also, the Detroit Free Press has a week by week forecast that you can check out by clicking here.
