This month marks the last one that a longstanding vendor will be in the Lansing City Market.

According to the Lansing State Journal, Hill's Home Cured Cheese (or, commonly known as the Cheeseman) will be leaving the Lansing City Market by the end of this month. Hill's Home Cured Cheese has been apart of the Lansing City Market since 1916, back when it only had two cheeses!

Hill's departure follows many others who've left the Lansing City Market over recent years, prompting "a broad discussion of the market's future". At this time, only the Waterfront Bar & Grill, LS Jewelry Designs & Florals, and two smaller vendors remain.
